To start, navigate to the Sidebar in GitScrum Resources and click on “Sprints”. From there, select the “Create new Sprint” option which will bring up a splash screen with the same name.

Select Project, Set Date Range, and Define Sprint Goals

Next, you’ll need to select the project that the Sprint will be associated with. Then, provide a name for the Sprint, which can be a number or any other label that helps you distinguish this Sprint from others. You will then set the date range for the Sprint in the Timebox, which is the start date and end date. If desired, you can also include Sprint goals to further clarify what you hope to accomplish during this Sprint.

Once all the necessary information has been entered, simply click on “Create new Sprint”. With that, you have successfully created a Sprint within the GitScrum Project Management platform. The tasks for the Sprint can then be added at a later time.

Assigning Tasks to Your GitScrum

  1. Sprint From the Sidebar, navigate to “Sprints”.
  2. Here, you will find a list of all previously created Sprints.
  3. Select the Sprint you wish to add tasks to by clicking its name.
  4. On the Sprint’s detail page, choose “Assign Tasks to Sprint”.
  5. Pick the tasks you want to add to the Sprint by clicking on checkbox.
